These six eyed spiders actually spit a sticky goo to catch their meal.  Once the prey is
stuck to this sticky stuff, the spider moves in for the catch.  I actually saw this happen
one night while photographing them.  My flashlight attracted a fruit fly while I was
taking the shot...check out the photo to the right.  These beneficial spiders are
common in and around homes.   Free pest control!
